GENERAL
This match is a test of skill for wind reading, range estimation and ballistics.

EQUIPMENT
Shooters will need a rifle/ scope combination capable of ranging and delivering a shot at ranges that may exceed 1200 yards. You may use a “308 class” rifle caliber in all matches. You may use a “Magnum class rifle in some matches. You may use a shooting mat, spotting scope. In Match #6 and Match #7 you may use electronic range finders, wind meters, etc. That is ONLY in Matches 6 and 7. No AP, tracer etc. ammo allowed. No calibers larger than 338.

Course Of Fire
MATCH #1
Shooters will range and engage an E silhouette with 1 round. If the shot is a hit the shooter receives 100 points if he is shooting a Magnum Class Rifle. If the shooter is shooting a “308 Class rifle he will receive 120 points. If the first shot is a miss, the shooter will engage the E silhouette with a second round. If the second shot is a hit the shooter will receive 50 points for a Magnum Class rifle and 60 points for a 308 class rifle.

MATCH #2
Shooters will range and engage a 22″wide by 24″ high target with a “308 Class” rifle with 1 round. If the shot is a hit the shooter will receive 100 points. If the first shot is a miss the shooter will fire a second round. If the second round is a hit, the shooter will receive 50 points.

MATCH #3
There will be a total of 5 targets. Shooters will range and engage each target with 1 round. Each target hit receives 20 points. Shooter may use Magnum or 308 class rifle. Targets will be 19″X24″, 22″X 24″ and E silhouettes, 20″X40″

MATCH #4
Shooters will range and engage 5 targets with a 308 class, rifle 1 round each with a total time limit of 7 minutes. The targets will be 4″X6″, 6″X8″, 8″X12″,10″X 15 ” and 12″X 18″. Hits will receive 20 points each.

MATCH #5
Shooters will engage the same 5 targets as in match #4 with a 308 class rifle. Shooter must hit all 5 targets. This is a timed match. Fastest time will receive 100 points, second fastest will receive 95 points, third fastest will receive 90 points etc, etc. Ties will be broken by most first round hits followed by longest first round hit.

Match #6
Shooters will engage a 22″X24″ target with 1 round using a 308 class rifle. Shooters may use electronic devices in this match. A hit receives 100 points.

MATCH #7
Shooters will engage an E silhouette with one round. If the shooter is using a Magnum class rifle, he will receive 100 points for a hit. If the shooter is shooting a 308 class rifle he will receive 120 points. Shooters may use electronic devices in this match.


Shooters must pre register. The cost for this match is $30.00. If you are not a USC member, you must pay an additional $5 range use fee at the club house when you sign in. All shooters must sign in at the USC Club House. Shooting order on Match #1 will be determined by when the shooter pre registers. First to sign up may choose his shooting order.

We will be shooting 2 matches at the same time. Match 1 and 2, Match 3 and 4, and match 5 and 6. NO ELECTRONICS except for Match 6 and 7.

Awards will be given for 1st place in each match and over all Champion.
